Our Story
The Cyprus Mathematical Society (CMS) has been founded in 1983, with the aim to enhance Math and Science Education. It is a non-profit organization, which develops throughout the volunteer work of its members. CMS is part of the European Mathematical Society (EMS) and founding member of the Mathematical Society of Southeastern Europe (MASSEE). As part of its goal, CMS organizes mathematical competitions for pupils and prepares the National Teams of Cyprus to participate in national competitions (Balkan Math Olympiads and National Math Olympiads) of all levels.

CMS Events
CMS organizes the Math Summer School, Seminars and Conferences like the Pancyprian Conference of Math and Science Education, the Pancyprian Conference of Math, the Mediterranean Conference of Math Education and other National Conferences of Math like EUROMATH.

CMS Magazines
CMS publishes magazines like “Μαθηματικό Βήμα” and past papers with solutions from past Olympiads and conferences. Since January 2002, CMS also publishes the Scientific Magazine “Mediterranean Journal For Research In Mathematics Education”.
